@matigo That’s the problem…people will want the new one every year or two. My personal gripe about the Apple Watch is that despite the strap and case variations they aren’t very personal to the wearer. Each one looks pretty similar to every other one.
@peemee A lot of people seem to do that—keep quiet about their serious illness—but I can understand why…
@sumudu It depends how honest and open we’re talking about. If it’s Sheldon Cooper levels of honesty then you’re probably the only one there.
@matigo I don’t know if that would make any difference but I do like the idea of independent, not free providers like Zoho and FastMail. I imagine they’re less faceless. I do have FastMail account but hardly use it so far. Changing all the email things is a bit daunting.
@phoneboy I'd love to know if any email providers are much better than Google at…
A) Protecting accounts from theft
B) Helping people get them back
@matigo It might be worth looking up how dog vision works. There may be more to it than you’d think. If it’s similar to ours, then you'd want a 50mm lens and blurring outside the centre. I know prey animals like sheep have weird eyes that can focus on the periphery and cats have a strong centre focus for hunting. Given that dogs hunt in groups rather than alone, maybe their focusing is somewhere between us and cats…I don’t know. Don’t dogs also see in B+W? If so, tonality is important.
