Yep. I left Safari, Brave and Activity Monitor running for a while and Brave's CPU time was much higher than Safari's, almost the same as Window Server. So I'll stick to Safari.

@peemee Is this basically so you can play a DVD movie without having to insert the disc? Because that would be nice on machines without optical disc drives.

It annoys me when eBay sellers put my mobile phone number on the outside of the parcels they send me but I can't say why exactly. It just seems presumptuous.
