I surmised that doing photography with a camera/phone combo might be rather flexible and handy. I tested the theory at the castle yesterday and it works quite well. I had my favourite longish lens on the camera and just switched to the phone any time I needed a wide angle. I found myself switching back and forth between camera and phone frequently, but it’s not annoying really. Switching lenses and carrying bigger, heavier gear would be more annoying. My Micro Four Thirds camera (and lens) is quite modest and without other lenses I can use a small shoulder bag, not even a proper camera bag. I like it.
