@jextxadore I have a feeling that perhaps computer interface styles rather than having quick changing trends like fashion, have slower style changes like architecture. I suppose it could be in-between ie. slower than fashion but not as slow as architecture. I wonder if, like architecture, there is something of ideology behind it. So the ideology would be….less aesthetic, traditional, emotional, comforting. More rational, ordered, clean. Fewer affordances. More demands on the user to conform. After all, all modern society is collapsing into the utopian where men are required to be modern and perfected. I'm not quite sure what modern bitches think about colour; they can't seem to make their minds up about that….
