Just watched a Russian sci-fi film that was released in 2020. It’s set in the Soviet Union in the nineteen-eighties. A cosmonaut returns to our world with an alien inside him. The alien comes out of the man’s body sometimes, usually at night. The cosmonaut is retained at a government installation in the Kazakhstan desert for security and studying. The question is, 'is the relationship between cosmonaut and alien parasitic or have they become fully symbiotic, and can the alien and cosmonaut be separated without harm?' Sputnik means fellow traveller. Decent film.
