Honestly, these people who don’t turn off the clacky sound on their phone screen keyboards, grrr.
Sticking with the topic of heat; it's hard to make the MacBook Pro hot and bring the fan on because it takes everything on the chin but I managed to get it very hot by using an app called Video Enhance A.I.
In broad daylight, I looked where the fire engine was last night and could see no fire damage to any house. I must have imagined seeing melted window frames in the dark (unless they got quickly replaced). Perhaps someone set a wheelie bin on fire; there was a police van there this morning.
It's me what is melting.
I heard some shouting and smelled what seemed like burning rubber a few minutes ago and heard what sounded like a lorry. I thought someone was doing some drunken tire skidding with a large vehicle. But it turned out to be a house fire just up the street. Eek. It’s about six houses up. I can’t see much in the dark but the fire seems to be out now. One house had windows open and they looked a bit melted. It doesn’t look like a massive burn but it can’t have been tiny either because a cloud of smelly smoke went wafting down the street past my house. Hopefully the humans are alright.
@hazardwarning Eleanor Filey sounds like she may have worked at Bletchley Park.

@jussipekonen Sounds quite easy. Enjoy Gamla Stan, or whatever bit you’re visiting and try not to crash into an island.
