I find it really hard to choose a picture to hang on my walls because pictures I like and pictures I want on my walls are two different things. For my walls, the picture has to create the right atmosphere. I've looked at hundreds of paintings so far and still can't make a decision. My favourite so far is probably a Thayer painting of an angel sitting on a cloud. But I'm also tempted by one of those James Audubon bird paintings, like the Jer Falcons one.

My car has done 100 000 miles now. I wonder how much life it has left in it. I think with Hondas the non-mechanical bits of the car often give up the ghost before the engine does.
