Ooh….just discovered that the late seventies/early eighties British sci-fi series 'Blake’s 7' is being broadcast on the obscure Forces TV channel. Mind you, I’d be better getting the DVD and watching it properly from the beginning.

Ten hours of quiet work? Strange job.

It was a small, awkward one to mow. Still lots of grass at the back.

Body is a bit tired today because I was turning the front lawn into a pebble field. Some muscles that aren’t used much make themselves known. Dorset pebbles, quite big but not cobble big.

I don’t want to ‘Add to iCloud Drive’. iCloud Drive isn’t for me.

Do the Taiwanese make good musical instruments?

Sadly, that doesn’t present me with a file. It suggests I sign in to iCloud Drive, something I don’t use. 😑

You said clicking the wavy button on the bottom bar redisplays it so I thought you hadn’t tried tapping on the wavy button at the top of the pop-up menu. Fair enough, you have a bug.

The bad news is I just cannot get the television to work reliably with the Philips soundbase. It works until you turn the telly off and on again. I’ve tried updating the TV’s firmware and spent endless hours fiddling about with settings and trying different on/off routines but nothing worked. I’ve ordered a better quality HDMI cable in the hope that it’s an electrical interference problem because I know that’s worked for some people with not dissimilar problems. I’m doubtful that’ll work here though because the Panasonic telly worked fine with this speaker and the predictability of the fallout makes me think it’s a Sony bug.
