'If you are using Linux, Ext4, XFS, or ZFS will be your friend'. Such is the life of computer geeks the World over. :-)
@matigo Why do manufacturers put eXFAT on a 2TB SSD? Maybe it makes sense on a small thumb drive, but not on this. I just wish Apple would fully support NTFS or Microsoft would work with HFS so files aren’t siloed. I’m Mac only for now anyway…cheers 👍
Is it desirable for an external data backup drive to have a journaled file system, or is journaling only needed for a running system or a backup of a running system? I ask because I think I read a while ago that eXFAT isn’t journaled…and that’s what is usually on new flash memory drives. Just wondering how solid/flaky a SSD with eXFAT is. Surely HFS+ or NTFS would be better for important files?
@peemee If there’s blood in her poo I don’t know why they don’t just do the camera up the chuff straight away. I’d be concerned that if the scan finds nothing they might not do the colonoscopy.
I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve had recorded messages over the phone telling me my Internet is going to be cut because of illegal activity. I’d like to do some illegal activity on the people behind this. It would involve a large vat. Blocking numbers when they ring doesn’t seem to help much.
