@jws Good on what, a Kindle?

@jws I keep forgetting about the e-stuff. I haven’t been to the library since the beginning of 2020, if that. I’m sceptical about e-readers though. I’ve never used one but I’ve heard that they don’t support every character and symbol which would be a sin in my book. If it was a P.D.F. with photocopied pages I’d be more inclined to read it. And audiobooks are OK sometimes.

@matigo I’m enjoying reading now more than I ever have in my life. Problem is, I’m buying them faster than I’m reading them.
@matigo Sounds like you’ve spent quite a lot of your life with too little personal time.
I saw a nice cloud formation and wanted to photograph it through of the window. The camera was right behind me on the table; that’s why I keep it there. But then I thought 'I’ll have to faff about trying to find the right scene mode' (my camera doesn’t take great blue sky fluffy cloud pics in its normal SPAM modes) and decided not to bother. With my phone I would have taken it in an instant because it intelligently knows what to do with skies. So why didn’t I take one with the phone? Because of its stupid wide-angle lens. It can’t single out a scene within a scene. Anyway, my main point is that the phone has made me very lazy with taking pics. When using the normal camera I long for the extreme simplicity of the Smartphone Smartcamera.
