Been hearing a woodpecker intermittently recently. I find it a comforting sound, perhaps because it bears out that I don’t live in a tarmac jungle (and I’m pleased about that).

@matigo Mmm, WD’s 5TB My Passport portable comes in red, blue and black. I’m starting to move to SSDs now anyway. Just got a SanDisk Extreme (the one with NVMe inside).

@matigo Interesting. I like the fact that the Seagate ones have differently coloured versions. It will help me to remember which drive I’m using for which purpose. Having several black slabs gets confusing.

I’ve heard quite a few people slag off Seagate hard disks over the years. Are they that bad?
