@matigo …and block out all windows so the dark is very dark, thus turning the would-be-thief's shades into blinkers during the dark bits. We might be over-thinking this. After all, there are already systems that fill the room with smoke.

@jextxadore When you mentioned your massive amount of lumens it got me wondering if a jeweller could thwart robbers by suddenly switching on a ridiculous amount of light and hurting their eyes. But I suppose if it got adopted, thieves would cotton on and start bringing very dark shades.
I found the car locked with the key on the driver’s seat this morning. Thankfully I had a spare. I hope I never do that away from home.
@jextxadore I didn’t know normal domestic lighting was insufficient for focusing for some people but I suppose if you’re used to a bright, sunny clime it must be disconcerting. I wonder if an extremely bright bulb could be used as a weapon….
