I opened the wheelie bin lid—the recycling one, not the smelly one—and there was a menagerie of slugs around the rim. Several little ones and one big fat one. Never seen this before. It’s been very dank in the last two weeks; that might have something to do with it. There must be a gap between the two bin lips allowing them to rest in a wet warmish crevice.
