@peemee Despite being born in Scotland, I don’t think I’ve ever had oatcakes.
Am starting to reduce biscuit consumption by getting into crackers. A sliver of carbohydrates can’t be as bad as a chunk of carbohydrates and sugar (with more calories). Currently having a sourdough cracker with cheese (that has chives and onion in it).
@matigo Yeah, even 1024 GB ones can be cheap. I wish full size SD cards were that cheap (for my camera).
Woke up in the wee hours with acid reflux. Had to avoid being horizontal for a while, so now my sleeping pattern is buggered up.
@peemee We have it so easy compared with those ancestors. I can’t imagine having to feed a family from a patch of parched land knowing there’s no unemployment benefit to fall back on.
@hazardwarning It’s annoying but I don’t hear it as much as I used to. Hopefully it will die out.
@hazardwarning Where I grew up in the Vale of York we very frequently put the word 'like' on the end of a sentence for no obvious reason. I don’t know if you did that over on the coast like.
