@streakmachine I dance on the grave of my G4 iBook. What a dog it was. I do think those silver keyboards on the PowerBooks were nice looking though.

@peemee I’d be tempted to remove the back and leave it in a warmish, dry room for a few days in the slim hope it’ll right itself.

@sumudu I planned to get an iPad at first but then I thought the extra abilities of the MacBook would be useful. I may get a nice 4K monitor at some point and plug the book into it for certain things.

Bought a 2015 MacBook two or three weeks ago. The twelve inch one that’s smaller and lighter than a MacBook Air. 1.2Ghz/500GB. I’m trying to reserve judgement for now because it takes months to really get a settled view on such things. Preliminary thought is that they’ve done a pretty good job of combining what’s good about laptops with what’s good about iPads. (I got a space grey one…to reflect my toxic masculinity obviously).
