@indigo United Biscuits factory in Carlisle had flood problems so they air-lifted biscuits into Doncaster airport…and presumably others. They said water biscuits were most hard to find but others were affected too. I don't know how Britain can function properly without enough biscuits.

@matigo Sounds like a pain. Don't do it. One problem with email anyway, is that they sometimes go on an slow international holiday before arriving where they're meant to be.

@height8 Email posting is such a powerful thing. It means you can post from a machine that doesn't have a suitable browser or post without having to log in to the site. Pretty much every device ever made has email.

@hazardwarning I wonder how many days downtime in a year would nullify the efficiency gains.
@peemee Would be nice to try something like this with my iBook. But all the firewire CF readers seem to be fat things with wires, unlike the USB reader I have which is more of a dongle and therefore niftier…especially for using the iBook on one's lap.
