A little known secret about Emmanuel Macron is that he's not of French origin. He's actually of Scottish origin. So Mac-Ron actually means 'son of Ron'. I'm just not sure if he's the son or Ronald Reagan or the son of Ronald McDonald. He often seems like a bit of both.
