@matigo Not having to obey a World hegemon I suppose.
No matter how much the West and the supranational elite strive to preserve the existing order, a new era and a new stage in world history are coming. Only genuinely sovereign states are in a position to ensure a high growth dynamic and become a role model for others in terms of standards of living and quality of life, the protection of traditional values and high humanistic ideals, and development models where an individual is not a means, but the ultimate goal.

'I once saw an article that explained how the cost of a car would be a multiple of its price if it were assembled out of spare parts.
BMW making a subscription for things like the car seat heater is ridiculous. We are well past peak complexity IMHO.'
@jussipekonen I’ve never known anyone who had an amputation but I know someone who had quite a bad stroke (right arm basically dead and can hardly walk) and he was in a depression for six months, then he suddenly snapped out of it and cheered up.
@phoneboy I like the design of that machine. Knobs are great (and one of the reasons I got the Marshall Stockwell II). Are the speakers goodish?
@phoneboy I don't know if the Internet is for porn but I've heard a rumour that the project to create broadband was specifically to get people addicted to it so they'd be more docile.

@jussipekonen This is a reminder to all of us of the importance of good vascular health. I hope your dad gets the best kind of help.
@hazardwarning I remember hearing that when Bach first stated composing for churches the musicians complained that his music was impossible to play because it was too complex. Sounds like you’ve had a good workout.
