@matigo Wow. Didn’t even know there was a second generation one (from 2014).
@streakmachine Networks keep shutting down compatibility with old Gs….so phones that can’t keep up with recent tech are not going to work. And making a usable mobile phone seems to be very hard, hence all the crippled offerings. The Palm Pre will be a Dodo once 3G is shut down. It’s all very terrible.

@phoneboy I’ve read some intimations about some owners of advertising agencies in England being of a radical bent. Of course not everything is a conspiracy. A lot of weird things are because of incompetence and stupidity, or people modishly following fashionable trends. But not everything is chance either. I do wonder though, how specific the corporate clients get in their advert content requests.

@phoneboy Then there are the adverts between programmes. I don’t know what sin we committed to deserve that deluge of manure. Advertising agencies are clearly owned by total hunts,

@matigo I mean competition with your specific idea—spinning up demos that aren’t just visuals.
@matigo Sounds like a great idea. Leveraging your special talents. Applying them in a service which (I’m guessing) is not readily available to ordinary people and small companies. I know there are tons of web design outfits but I assume they don’t offer proper proof of concept demos for things beyond basic design. I suppose you could be more ambitious and offer the service to bigger outfits but they are so closed-minded. Thorny questions might be how to find the right customers, how to convince them and how to cope with doing all the work yourself if it takes off. It would appear to be (an informed guess again) something where there’s no obvious competition.
