Mind you, I probably wouldn’t recommend this set up. These old DVD recorders are flaky. Mine doesn’t work half the time. It tends to work for a couple of hours at a time, then I’ll try again the next day.
@matigo When Iomega brought out a slimline ZIP drive that was powered by USB and needed no power brick I got one of those. 100MB per disk…haha 100MB.
My VHS digitising set up: high quality Panasonic S-VHS video recorder (with TBC, noise reduction and sharpness control) and legendary JVC DVD recorder. Legendary because just a handful of DVD recorders exhibit such exemplary processing and encoding of video. I record in XP mode which gives me 10MBps bitrate but only one hour per DVD. You can then rip the disks with MakeMKV if you want.
The new 10C is nice…and looks nice. I’m glad the teal lines have gone. I don’t think teal and purple went well.
@matigo I used to really look forward to what Apple was doing. But they are so technocratic establishment now.
