@matigo I want to prepare for the grid going down some day. I imagine Japan would be the most resilient country for that because of your earthquake procedures. Loss of water is the most worrying.
@matigo
• I knew you could get wind-up radios but didn’t know they could charge stuff via U.S.B.—that’s clever.
• Silver blankets not withstanding, you’d still freeze in winter.
• What about toilet needs?
@streakmachine I assume you’re connecting a Headless Ghost to your computer rather than a mannequin.
@matigo Emergency supplies for earthquake disasters? What does one need for that contingency? When politicians and people connected with government talk about dark winter and cyberpandemic I assume it’s going to happen one day.
I was completely oblivious to the oncoming Mothering Sunday. Usually I hear references and get a card but I didn’t hear anything this time. I have no Mum Day card. I’ll just have to give her the only card I have—this unrelated blank card and write something appropriate in it.
@jws You could always divide the continent up into more manageable countries :-)

@matigo This is a narrow country and they change the clocks here.
