I always liked the all silver machines. Still do. When they were current, it was a stretch to afford a low-end white iBook, let alone a PowerBook. I never did get to fondle one. But I’ve moved on now. And I don’t know why Apple now insists on black keys on all laptops no matter their colour. Black keyboards should be for people who work in dark rooms.

We’re all still learning that skill. Just today I was thinking 'any given person I’m interacting with might be dealing with some horribly heavy issues unbeknownst to me, so maybe when I feel like saying something critical…I shouldn’t'. But I don’t want to go too easy on people either. It’s a balance skill.
