I’m trying to work out why pickled gherkins taste delicious in cheeseburgers but taste awful out of the jar I bought. For a start, the out of a jar ones I procured are too sweet. They’ve obviously ladled in the sugar at the factory. They’re also large, long, thin, floppy slices. I prefer them short, stiff and not sweet. The jar has mustard seeds in it. Maybe that’s part of why they taste different. Or it may simply be down to the sugar. I’m sorry but these serious issues must be talked aboot.
@sumudu Everyone needs a room of one's own, or something like that.

@matigo In countries with low population densities, expert help can be a long distance away, so people in those countries have long needed to fix things themselves. Properties in those countries are often much larger too, so more room for workshops.
Why can’t the haulage/courier industry deliver things undamaged? What’s so hard about not dropping or ramming things?
@matigo You haven’t seen it? Some of the old black and white American T.V. series were shown in Britain decades after their original broadcasting. I think Zorro was the oldest. My favourite was Champion the Wonder Horse.
