Am considering getting a water flosser. Normal flossing is an absolute hassle.
Why do e-mail addresses end in what appears to be web domains…like .com; .org; .co.uk? E-mail is far older than the web. What did early e-mail addies look like? Did dot com and dot org start with e-mail and did T.B.L. then copy the scheme for his W.W.W.?
I get this every single time I visit YouTube now (so often several times a day). I suppose answering the question might make it go away, but I just resent the fact that when you click on the cross it still comes back.
I feel guilty about not going out on my bike and not going out with the camera. The bike is tricky in winter because I do woods, not tarmac. That means nasty mud. Sometimes, you come home with a line of dirt vertically up the middle of your back. So procrastination is the default attitude whenever I think about the bike. I hope its battery isn’t ruined from being idle. Mmmm.
One of the things I like about modern Apple laptops is, they cool down more quickly than the old ones did once you shut the lid. Maybe it has something to do with HD vs SSD. Or maybe it’s just that the old ones were bigger and heavier and just had more capacity to hold thermal energy.
A substantial proportion of the adverts on the telly now are by charities seeking our money, usually a monthly payment. The charities specify what amount we ought to pay them, rather than just being grateful for whatever they get…and they are run by Chief Executives. I’m trying to work out what all this means. It looks like charity has been financialised, like so much of modern life. I bet if you dig into it you’ll find that the financial druids are benefiting from it, ie. banks.
@matigo Whenever the user wants it to. The computer's is not to reason why; the computer's is but to do or die.
