@matigo Wow, did I hear you correctly? Are you saying that the operating system that was made by computer programming geeks for computer programming geeks is not very good for programming? And that the strongest force in Linux is scuttling its own vessel? So what is the point of this whole Linux thing then? Is it worthwhile? The Linux world has clearly been influential in some ways – servers, Webkit, Android etc. so it must be good at something…The more I think about it, the more Linux seems to look like one of those heritage steam railways kept going by old greasy volunteers.
