Apparently, the average lifespan of a company is progressively getting shorter over time. I think this is a symptom of poor corporate culture, poor theories of firms (thanks Horace Dediu) and poor economic and socio-economic theories. Hopefully it’s a phase and things will change. Short-termism and financialism are probably the worst problems. Idiot managers are always with us, but the environment they exist in can make them better or worse.

I was wondering what would be a low carbohydrate snack to have instead of biscuits…so I don’t get type three diabetes. I had a couple of hard-boiled eggs and three small pickled onions. Some pickled onions taste sweet, so I wonder if sugar is being added though.
