Heh. I don’t give a toss about offending anyone (it does them good). I don’t like to look like a plonker though. :-)

I’ve just finished watching the Snowden film (yeah, I’m usually years behind everyone else with films). I hope he’s doing well over in Moscow. Apparently his girlfriend went over to live with him. He deserves a decent life. He has a future, unlike Assange.

Apparently, Dungworth is a surname. Not nice.

I should have said 'do you sell nuts?'

I said to the shop worker 'have you got any nuts?' I could have phrased that better.

I was referencing his statement that our theory of the firm is mediaeval…ie. primitive.

These Chambord presentation boxes make good presents when you’re stumped for an idea. I got one from the local supermarket for £6.

Apparently, the average lifespan of a company is progressively getting shorter over time. I think this is a symptom of poor corporate culture, poor theories of firms (thanks Horace Dediu) and poor economic and socio-economic theories. Hopefully it’s a phase and things will change. Short-termism and financialism are probably the worst problems. Idiot managers are always with us, but the environment they exist in can make them better or worse.
