@sumudu Beautiful view.
@matigo Yes…and cartridges showing empty when they aren’t really…and chips added to them to try and stop you using third-party ink…and making you replace several colours just because one colour in the cartridge is low.
With laser, I’ve only used black and white so I don’t know how the colours work on them…
@peemee It always warms my heart when I hear that someone has been steered away from an inkjet.
Just had to remove a dead rat off the back garden grass. Must’ve been dead a while because it was stiff. It’s eye was pecked out but I couldn’t see any other injury. It looked a bit red around the mouth though and there were some fluffy hair—the rat's I think—near the carcase. As the bin is due to be emptied this morning, I put it in there.
@matigo The government and society are quite conservative (like ours used to be) but that doesn’t mean they have the antibodies to prevent infiltration and subversion. Big changes happen slowly (without most people realising), then quickly.
I’m not getting into politics. I’ve no desire to talk about politics here. I’m just referring to your citizenship issue, which is interesting. You’re in quite an unusual situation.
@jws I am grateful to be able to benefit from your industry :-)
Now you can star all our crap posts. Lucky you.
@matigo What happened in the West could happen in Japan too. In fact, I’d be surprised if it isn’t happening as we speak. So switching passports might make no difference in the end.
@larand I couldn’t do that. Giving up my birthright would be like giving up my two legs.

@matigo Don’t give up your passport man. You can’t predict what’ll happen in the future. (Perhaps you were speaking rhetorically). So is Japan one of those countries that insists you give up citizenship elsewhere if you want one of their passports?
