I was sat on a rock beside a lake yesterday. In a secret little nook, hidden by reeds and bushes. It was very calming listening to the water lapping on the rocks. Watching the wind whip up repetitive waves was rather hypnotic too. There are some other places in my immediate neighbourhood (ie. a bit closer) but they aren’t quite the same—lakes and waves have a special unique atmosphere.
@peemee I imagine that’s an extra annoying affliction when don’t live with others (who can be your servants).
@matigo Having to do sharp right-hand turns with the trolleys just when I’ve got some speed up annoys me. Supermarkets should be in a spiral design…as long as it’s not too tight a bend.
