@hazardwarning Thanks for uploading 'em. They’re not really acceptably sharp, except as evidence, to prove that you saw them.
@matigo Interesting. I’ve not noticed any reduction in steadiness. Maybe it’s subtle and I just haven’t picked up on it yet.
Some point 'n' shoot cameras have massive zooming abilities but I wonder what is the most zoom you can use and still hold the camera steadily enough (no tripod). If you can’t keep it steady enough to compose properly and avoid blur then you need a tripod and if you need a tripod, what’s the point of having a point 'n' shoot?
@matigo I’m surprised Nagoya to Tokyo takes that long on a fast train, being not very far apart.
Weird thing about the bike seller was my brother and I were totally convinced he was Australian. He said 'no, I’ve just got a ******-up accent'. My brother reckons he knew someone once before who sounded like that and she came from north Essex, not far from Ipswich. Makes you wonder if people from that area settled in OZ in numbers early on.
Lovely little town I went to yesterday (Harleston). Narrow little high street with old shops. Lots of bunting strung across making it look even quainter.
