I would’ve expected to see it less in more technical endeavours like software engineering though, where employee performance is a bit more measurable. But apparently I’m wrong on that. If a software engineer can be that useless then I don’t see why he warrants the title engineer. Imagine if a car engine designer was that sloppy.
