@peemee Nothing keeps extremities warm as good as sheepskin. Get some sheepskin slippers.
@peemee C.V.T.. Apparently, the problem is something to do with the starter clutch.
Found some geezers doing open swimming in a big pondy thing. To hell with the signage.
Very pleased about the car. It had been juddering a lot when pulling at low speed. I kept putting off dealing with it because I was worried it might be something nasty like knackered transmission. I finally looked things up on the Internet and found it's a common problem with Jazzes and the answer is to put in some new Honda transmission fluid and squirt in an additive called Revitalizant. The oil went in (first time in the eight years of ownership) and the car seems to be cured now. It's driving perfectly. So simple. I don't know if there's any point using the additive now.
@matigo It was quite bright despite the cloud cover. I'll give the iPhone one thing: it's good at capturing clouds.
@jextxadore I don't know why Apple can't implement some sort of progress bar at the top of the screen on iOS. They probably have some weird theory behind it about touch screen devices being in a different category to desktops.
I visited a local ruined priory today. Three-quarters of the way through my visit the camera battery died and the replacement was a fair walk back to the car, as was my drink and snack. My feet were getting sore though so I called it quits. Shame, because that would've been a nice spot for a mini picnic and a laze about.
Ended up eating in the car. I could see the priory from the car park so I played 'Passacaglia' & 'Parce Mihi Domine' on my phone while snacking. Huh.
