@larand He’s hated plenty of other jobs though. So he seems to have found something that suits him (delivering white goods into people’s kitchens with lots of travelling across the region).
My brother says he hates days when he’s off work…because it’s boring. Not a sentiment you hear often.
@matigo It’s not cool, but governments putting up slightly sinister, staring-eyes big brother posters isn’t very nice either. I think it’s an accurate telling of the relationship between us and them though. They see us as cyphers and interact with us accordingly.
@matigo People (or businesses) who can’t or won’t take their unwanted crap to the municipal tip and just dump it by the road when no one's looking.
All these years, I thought enervate meant the exact opposite of what it actually means. I thought it meant energise.
