No not really. These things just tend to retain their value against inflation, unlike the funny money the rulers con us with. Mind you, once you start looking, you do get more interested. Perhaps the fact that I got the American one is a sign that I'm getting more into it because I knew I'd have to pay capital gains tax on any profit with it….whereas the Britannia is C.G.T.-free due to being legal tender.
