India and Bangladesh were very cheap for clothing. Taiwan and South Korea were fairly cheap for hi-tech stuff. China combined very cheap with very hi-tech and surpassed everyone in their manufacturing scale and flexibility.

I reckon @hazardwarning could crochet an iPhone 6s clone but it'd take 27yrs.

@streakmachine That's what I have. Well, the 2004 one. It was also my first ever mac. It's bloody slow, at least on any web stuff. I don't find it enjoyable.
