Bloody Allen head bolts securing my bike's brake disc stripped when I tried removing. Crappy screws if you ask me (bit of play on the Allen key)…and they had blue loctite on them. YouTube advised me to hammer a torx bit into the heads then use an impact driver to unscrew. I found a slightly rusty, not very sharp, old torx bit in the shed and gave it a go. Problem solved! >Feels good about it<.

I set the combi-drill to hammer, max torque, gear one and pushed down quite hard.

Damn. That's another uncle popped his clogs, just a week after watching one being cremated. They are dropping like flies.

If the sauce came out of a jar bottled in a factory, I'd wonder if there is anything unhealthy in the sauce ingredients though, like added sugar.

There's a hole in your eye? That doesn't sound very nice. My peepers are +0.75 and -2.0. My main concern is will the glasses stabilize my sight because it's been on a bit of a downward spiral the last couple of years. The technician said they would help in that respect.

That's quite a big warp shift from El Cap. to Ventura.

I'm not sure it will be that bad. The age profile of the country is old. The potential pool of volunteers is massive. Also, there are quite a good number of people who retire early on private pensions. And the urge to engage with your community is a deep biological need. Many people will do it even when it's difficult.

Can't they fix lens distortion with lasers? Apparently, my eccentric sight isn't that rare so I'm not a total freak.

I'm finally on the speccy four eyes bandwagon now. I tried to stay off but I don't want to get to the point where I'm disallowed from driving. So it had to be done. Apparently, I have a short-sighted eye and a long-sighted eye and the difference between the two is great, so making a pair of specs for me isn't easy.

Why why why Delilah? What did you do that for?

Things are phone-centric now.
