You have forest nostalgia really badly.

I’ve heard some people say it only needs to be one metre. Who knows.

Oh dear, that doesn’t sound encouraging. You must be bored in the wrong country. I dare say the air is cleaner in Germany though.

They’re more stingy here. They’re asking for two metres.

That was the one I fancied, ideally. It looks really nifty, and more stylish than a hoover has a right to be…but I’m still a cordless sceptic.

Hi there. Do you think Covid-19 has passed its peak in China now?

Some of the people who train dolphins use that hand sign when they want the dolphins to create their own new trick.

I’d have loved a skinny, cordless Dyson but just wasn’t sure about the power. I got a shark corded one.

Thanks for the info. I got a Shark Liftaway. It’s excellent. I had no idea there was that much stuff in the carpet. One slight quibble: after switching off, there is sometimes a slight dust deposit under the machine (on a maroon carpet). I had to switch back on and nozzle it up. I still think it’s pretty impressive though.

Got ya. Your humour in this case is too subtle for my simple brain. I’ve been accused of having a very subtle sense of humour myself. You may be even worse though…
