Was the Dyson ball not powerful enough? Does the liftaway part of the Shark stand on the stairs OK. Because you want a hand free to grab the bannister when you’re near the top of the stair don’t you? The floor head part could be smaller but I suppose it’ll be alright combined with some nozzle action…lol.

Which Dyson is good on carpets?

jws.10centuries.org.

I wonder what would be a good hoover for carpets (not deep). Experience tells me that some are just weedy and crap and disappointing (maybe OK for hard floors) and I don’t want to waste money on one that’s as feeble as the current one. Need something powerful. Online reviews are contradictory and confusing. I’ve been led to believe the cordless ones don’t have strong suction. Do any of them have good power? The Henry cylinder ones always seem to get good customer feedback…but I quite fancy a bagless one for a change. I always like the hoovers that have a narrow (and swivelling) head which can easily get in and out of little nooks and crannies. I like the idea of a Miele because they have a reputation for great engineering but theirs are all bagged I think. I suppose a bag is not the end of the World. I’ve seen some very cheap ones with good customer comments. Can a £50 one really be a goody…especially on carpets?

Well done.

I can’t stand these arrogant cyclists. They obviously didn’t get their bums smacked enough when they were little. Any fast moving lump of metal is a weapon and should be treated as such.

Would be great for bike rides.

On tomboys? I doubt it.

The name Digno is obviously short for 'no dignity'.

Gigantic queues far out the door of the supermarket. They were only letting in ten people at a time. I wasn’t about to go through that long wait with my dodgy feet. But when I went to the paper shop, there was a sign on the door: toilet roll - 1 per customer. Bingo!

I’ve started tearing them into flat pieces before putting them in the recycling wheelie bin at the side of the house. Let’s you cram more in. Oh the thrills.
