@matigo I’m going to try the normal Safari for a bit, rather than the web app, to see if it’s web app specific.
[I just tried some of the manipulations I mentioned earlier and I’m not having the same problems here in normal Safari, so maybe it is web app specific].
@matigo 1) Sometimes when starting a reply, no space is inserted between username and reply. 2) Sometimes, after deleting some text with the backspace key, the flashing cursor ends up in the wrong place. It appears to have a space behind it, so I start typing a new word, but the new word gets joined-on to the previous word (the space wasn’t real). 3) If I tap on 'select all' the blue selection doesn’t appear, but the 'cut|copy|paste' thing appears. If I then swipe my finger on the text body, the 'cut|copy|paste' thing goes away and the blue selection does indeed appear. 4) Sometimes, when the cursor is at the front of the typed text and I’ve pressed spacebar to make a space but then changed my mind and tapped on backspace, the cursor doesn’t move back even though more typing reveals that the space was actually deleted.
If I just do a straight type and send, it works OK (except No.1 sometimes). It’s when I’m editing, selecting, copying and pasting and moving the cursor around (like when I go back to add a hyphen somewhere or fix spelling) that things get weird.
Has anyone else noticed bugginess in the 10C webapp on iOS vis-a-vis text entry and text manipulation? Maybe the problems I’m having are coming from Apple rather than 10C though.
