Fucking stupid French language! Who devised this tripe? If the vowel in the definite article is apostrophed away, how am I supposed to know the noun's gender? I’m trying to find out if computer is male or female. L'ordinateur indeed. I bet it’s male.

@matigo A news broadcast about last night's events this morning centred on tweets from American and Iranian politicians. Why do politicians think conducting political and diplomatic matters on Twitter is sensible? Just proves what a bunch of they are.
@matigo I’ve never seen a male at my dentist's surgery. Dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, receptionists, all female. Women are taking over dentistry, like they are general practice, law and teaching. Japan may be a bit different I suppose.
