Well, if the enjoyment is greater than the frustration…

Have you read Eliade's 'History of Religious Ideas'? It’s on my list, but heaven knows when I’ll get to it. My current book is over 900 pages and there are so many other things to read…

You’ll drive yourself mad trying to find rational explanations for everything. It’s ironic in light of the God vs. evolution arguments that a lot of the tenets of organised religions are codifications of more ancient evolutionary behaviours. Most species don’t go around killing their own kind willy-nilly, especially not in their own community. Why does altruism exist? Because for most of human history, there has been a strong likelihood that the people we interact with on a daily basis share quite a lot of our genetic code.

When it comes to new product pipelines he's quite good, sometimes very good. When it comes to other details, like software features, he’s as random as anyone else. He seems to have better supply chain connections than others but that’s all.

Thanks. Nice job. But will the unpin button show on 4S-sized screens? ;-)

When you’re accessing from the 'save to homescreen' webapp, rather than the full browser app, you need to delete and recreate it. Just swiping up and away didn’t seem to flush it out fully. In fact, when I went back after that it even remembered that I’d tapped on a pinned post and had the pins showing. And there’s no reload option. It’s not difficult to remake the home screen icon though.
