@matigo It’s easier to consume newspaper stories selectively than the telly news stories…although pre-recording can help with that. Sometimes I watch a biased postmodernist news broadcast, then switch to a biased Russian (RT) broadcast. Watching opposing propagandas can be interesting. Sometimes the discordance is staggering.
@matigo I’m very embarrassed to say I haven’t read '1984'. I’ve read 'Brave New World' and '1984' is next on my list. I’ve seen the film version that was released in nineteen eighty-four.
