@matigo Strangely enough, I was thinking something not dissimilar. I was just thinking more generally… 'I bet our rulers are enjoying this; treating us like slaves, experimenting to see how far they can control us.'
If bubonic plague is ten on a scale of danger and seasonal flu is one, where does COVID-19 slot in? Because we’re responding as if it were about nine. Of course, if it’s death rate is similar to seasonal flu but is much better at spreading itself around, then it could be pretty nasty. But on the other hand, how many of the dead are people who have been leading incredibly unhealthy lifestyles for decades?

@hazardwarning I wonder what you could do. Maybe meet friends but keep a fairly wide berth…
@jws I know. I thought about it, but with my level of fussiness I suspect it’d be more like three orders and two returns. :-)
@hazardwarning It must make things a lot easier not being too bothered. I worry about little things like, do my trouser legs look too rucked up? Does my jacket make me look masculine enough. It’s a bit tiring.
Assumptions are often useless and sometimes even dangerous. Assume, I do not will.
The department store was quiet today, which made buying trousers slightly less insufferable. I still hated the task though. Every time I consider doing it online, I remember how hard it is to get the perfect style, size and fit. Ordering and sending back multiple times through the postal system would be an utter faff. Why do people do that with clothes?
@matigo I’m not sure what use a status page would be. I know when 10C is up and I know when it’s down.
