@hazardwarning Karma can work in weirdly circuitous ways.

@matigo OK, it’s slightly tight and tricky on a four inch screen, but so was the previous method. It works, and I’m keen to have it over at Anri.

OK, let's test it shall we? Here are some recent pics, starting with some water birds at a reservoir.
While walking beside the water I noticed this weird complex of tree roots. I think it looks a bit creepy. I have this notion that I should go back there at night some time and take a really creepy photo of it.
Walking back to the car holding my camera, I felt like my fingers were close to the frostbite stage. I was also trying to quickly get some photos done before it got too dark, so I just put the camera in 'intelligent Auto+' mode. It tends to work quite well. I should use it more often. This one below was taken with that mode.
Just before I got back to the car I snapped the ice-cream van. They’re triers aren't they? He switched his lights off as I was trying different exposures. Getting the illuminated lettering on his van without blacking everything else out was hard. With hindsight, I should have used one of my camera's special modes that are designed to deal with such scenes.
OK. Did this interleaving of text and photos work?
@matigo I like how that seating area is designed. You get a roof to keep you dry but still have a full 360 degree all-around view. I also like little hump-backed bridges over watercourses.
@peemee Oh yeah, I forgot about Antipodeans. Hey, it could be worse. Imagine if you lived in Alaska and your crappy, short, little summer got wiped out and then the ice comes. Enjoy your eerie Autumn.
