@hazardwarning I never need a knife when I’m outdoors. I must be leading a dull life. I have thought about getting a Swiss Army for rural bike rides in case of unknown events.

@hazardwarning You’re into pocket knives? Who knew? Is that for when the rival gangs come on your manor?

Wasps keep trying to come into the house…and sometimes succeed. Presumptive little buggers!
@jws Cutting bits out doesn’t seem quite as bad as refashioning. I’m glad you produced that link though…because now I’m acquainted with ‘The Crabfish’.
I’m very hesitant about watching new TV dramas nowadays. Most are a form of propaganda. Even when they adapt an old book they change the original story to try and make you think certain correct, modern thoughts. How dare they? There are other annoying things they do, like give the past a makeover so it looks polished. An adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s 1920s novel ‘The Pursuit of Love’ is coming on. Ten years ago I’d have been all over this because I like period dramas (though less than I used to). I’ll give it a chance I suppose, in case it’s one of the minority that is ‘normal’.
It’s so annoying that VLC has a next frame hotkey but no previous frame hotkey. There is a clunky workaround where you install an extension called Jump to Time Previous Frame. But you have to access it from the menus every time and click buttons on a dialogue. (Can I type it that way, instead of dialog?)
A Florida McDonalds is paying people $50 just to show up for a job interview and it’s still struggling to find applicants. Haha, interesting…
